Pantone ↔ CMYK
Search Pantone Solid Coated codes or HEX values, see the closest CMYK breakdown, copy everything with one click.
Why does screen-to-print color shift?
Screens emit light (RGB); print reflects it (CMYK). A vivid magenta on screen might come out slightly darker in print. A Pantone swatch is a physical reference — the closest CMYK breakdown in our table is a best-approximation for four-color process printing. For exact spot colors, ask us about Pantone spot printing.
FAQ
Why does my CMYK print look different from my Pantone swatch?
CMYK can only reproduce ~70% of the Pantone gamut. For exact brand colors, send us artwork with a spot color specified. We'll print that color as a fifth ink pass.
Do you print Pantone spot colors directly?
Yes, for screen-printed t-shirts and some CD jobs. Ask when you place the order.
What does 'Coated' mean?
Coated stocks (glossy or matte-coated paper) show colors differently than uncoated. PMS codes often have a 'C' suffix for coated stocks and 'U' for uncoated.
